Deep Tissue Massage

Most people enjoy a massage, as it often feels like what's needed! It's great to reduce tension when you muscles are sore after exercise and it helps to improve sporting performance.
Deep massage works by helping to increase circulation and flush out toxins that become trapped in the muscle. Muscles respond (sometimes not immediately) by becoming more relaxed and this is an involuntary response of the nervous system to deep pressure. Sometimes massage just 'feels good', and is great to reduce stress. Mike, Matt, Liz and Louise carry out deep tissue massage, as part of treatments for pain, but you can just book in for a 'good old pummel!'
